Olive C. Eldridge, 88, of Kennebunkport, Maine passed away peacefully on July 8, 2019 at her home in Kennebunkport, Maine following an extended illness. Mrs. Eldridge was born in Plattsburgh, New York to Daniel and Charlotte Cordick. She grew up and attended schools in Plattsburgh. While employed there, she met and married John Eldridge of Kennebunkport, her husband of more than 60 years.
Mrs. Eldridge was predeceased by her husband and her daughter Mary Ann Eldridge, who succumbed to illness as a young child. Mrs. Eldridge is survived by her son John Eldridge, his wife Brenda, and their two daughters, Erin and Kathryn. Mrs. Eldridge will best be remembered for her devotion to family, her remarkable resilience, and her fierce independence. She will be buried at the Arundel Cemetery in Kennebunkport in a private ceremony.
