Althea will always be warmly remembered in our extended family of Allens, Pargellis', and Bowes. My mother, Kathy, was particularly fond of Althea, so much so that she asked Althea to be my Godmother. For I'm not sure how many years, Althea owned and occupied our family house in Cape Porpoise. She remodeled the kitchen and several other rooms in the 50s, and (believe it or not) they are still pretty much the way she left them. Congratulations to Althea for a long life, well lived!
