Condolence From: Deb Levesque
Condolence: A few memories of dad, brook fishing and always getting my line caught up in the trees, he would untangle and help me. I broke his prized first fishing pole running through the woods and he never said a word. Going snowmobiling with him from Jefferson to Whitefield trying to keep up, he wouldnt slow down for me, is that where I get liking to go fast? He never got mad at me with the many times i crashed his snowmobiles and eventually gave up and bought me an old skidoo of my own. I thought for sure he would be mad when I put a long crease down the side if his spotless truck while trying to take a shortcut around the house but he never did. Dad: I feel you were looking down at me chuckling away the other day in the snow storm when i took the manual out to your tractor and figured out how to operate it and plowed your long driveway for mom. I hope I made you proud. I have always tried.

Condolence: I wish to express my sympathy to Dot, Deb, Kim and Chris. Harvey's memory will live on within all of us, and so I will share a few of mine. I remember when Deb and I bought our first house....Harvey and Dot came and Harvey brought a number of tools from his own collection for us: a garden rake, a round tip shovel, two square shovels, an ax, and a step ladder. We had a few tools of our own, but we had none of these. That was a long time ago, but we still have all of them except the round shovel, and they get used regularly. Thank you Harvey for sharing those with us,they have been put to good use.

I've always been intrigued by the way Harvey would modify equipment to do it's task just the way he wanted, or how he would mount a tool, hardware or whatever he needed, within arm's reach, so it was readily available when he needed it. It seemed he put his personal touch on so many things.

Every year he would ask me about maple syrup season, his interest sometimes left me wondering, had we been in another place in time and proximity, would he have been out in the woods tapping trees with me?

One of my favorite memories of Harvey is from a few years ago, we spent they day together, just the two of us, poking around in his garage. It was a sunny day, not too warm and not too cool. We figured out how a new welding mask worked, but mainly, we just talked. The conversation must not have been too serious, otherwise I might remember some of it, but what I remember most is that I just enjoyed spending the day with him.

So long Harvey....Rest in Peace....I'm going to miss talking with you.
