Condolence From: William Patrigo
Condolence: Jackie: I was going to contact Jack when I sadly discovered his passing. I worked with Jack from 1972 - 1978 at Rorer. As you may recall Jack and I studied for and took the Pennsylvania bar exam at the same time. I remember him for his management excellence at Rorer, his kindness, and particularly his sense of humor. I also remember the times that you and Jack invited me to your home for dinner and came to visit me at my apartment. Those were very enjoyable and memorable experiences for me. Again, I am saddened by Jack’s departure and wish you the very best.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Connerty family. To Jack: We’ve not stayed in touch over the years my friend, but you were never far from my thoughts and will be in my prayers. You and Len were the only two who stood by me all four years with all the issues between McCarthy and myself. May Christ hold you forever in the palm of his hands! And may your family know you were a special part of my life.

Condolence: Dear Jackie, I am sorry to hear of Jack's passing but know he is in his heavenly home. I wish I had been able to know both of you but by the time I came into Basil's life you were already settled with a family of your own. Reading Jack's remembrance gave me an insight as to what a wonderful man he was. I had a strong feeling about this when Jack, as ill as he was, cared enough to call us a few weeks before Basil went home to God. It meant so much to Basil, more than words can say. I was honored to have spoken with Jack that day and I could feel how vibrant and upbeat he was . What a gift of Faith! He was truly a gift to you, your family, friends and colleagues. My prayers are for you that you will have peace of mind buoyed by memories of so many years with the one who loved you so much. Anne Cronin

Condolence: Jackie I am truly sorry for your loss. I pray that your strength and the support of family will help you through this sadness. I know that Jack was struggling but he maintained a positive spirit when communicating to his Rorer family. I was always optimistic but now in true disbelief, that this day has come. God Bless. When I remember Jack Connerty I have to smile. He had that effect on me. When he talked to you it was always positive, asking how you were doing, remembering your wife and children by name. I was always amazed at his ability to have total recall about people and their families. He was like a warm light in a dark room. It was just a pleasure to be in his presence. Jack was a mentor and friend. He knew how to calm your concerns, reinforce the positives in life and lead by example. I knew I wanted to be just like Jack but sadly there was only one Jack Connerty. However the memory of Jack Connerty remains a part of me. The Rorer gang has lost another member. God willing, the group can meet again. Goodbye my friend until another day.

Condolence: I worked with Jack for many years at Rorer. Jack was loved my everyone who worked with him. He had an immense wit and could always be counted on to bring a smile to your face. I always looked forward to the Connerty's Christmas party's as they lived in an area of Phila. that had grand old houses that really made the season special. I traveled extensively with Jack to sales meetings and medical conventions and even after leaving Rorer would get to see the Connerty's at trade shows. Jack was a one of a kind human being. Anyone who was touched by him will remember him with love forever. Tony

Condolence From: Donna & Ned Woods & Family
Condolence: Uncle Jack was one of a kind. His genuine love and enthusiasm toward others was recognized at a very early age. Visits with “The Connerty’s” created so many happy times. It was not just about getting together with our cousins, it was the wonderful conversations we had along the way. He encouraged others to open up and tell their story. Jack was always interested in what was new and exciting in our lives and how the children were. Through his example I learned to communicate better with others and developed greater confidence in myself. Thank you for helping me write my essay at age 14, in attempt to be the next greatest candidate for “Marsha Jordan.” He was eloquent with his words. Thank you for hosting and showing us so much love and kindness over the years. Oh... and lastly, thank you for forgiving me for putting a great big dent in your beloved car, LuLu Bell. You will remain in our hearts forever. With kindness & great appreciation “The Woods” family.
