Jackie I am truly sorry for your loss. I pray that your strength and the support of family will help you through this sadness. I know that Jack was struggling but he maintained a positive spirit when communicating to his Rorer family. I was always optimistic but now in true disbelief, that this day has come. God Bless. When I remember Jack Connerty I have to smile. He had that effect on me. When he talked to you it was always positive, asking how you were doing, remembering your wife and children by name. I was always amazed at his ability to have total recall about people and their families. He was like a warm light in a dark room. It was just a pleasure to be in his presence. Jack was a mentor and friend. He knew how to calm your concerns, reinforce the positives in life and lead by example. I knew I wanted to be just like Jack but sadly there was only one Jack Connerty. However the memory of Jack Connerty remains a part of me. The Rorer gang has lost another member. God willing, the group can meet again. Goodbye my friend until another day.
