Condolence From: Dave Joyce
Condolence: In laws who alienate and divide. Who lack character and manners, peronality and humor. One hears these unfortunate stories all the time. But not from me. My brother in law is Mike Fairweather and for forty years wherever we met up there were warm welcomes, burgers and a cold beer, laughter and friendship. What a huge loss for our family. RIP, Mike

Condolence: Sally: I first knew you from IDS, and then again when I worked with Mike. I treasure the memories of the time spent @ Unex, as Mike turned around a floundering company, and transformed it into the world leader. I learned a lot being with him during that period. My best to you and your family. Wish there was more I could do. Hugh MacKenzie

Condolence From: Wendy Arnold
Condolence: Kaitlin and Family, Although I never had the honor of meeting Michael, watching how close this family has been all along the way has truly been amazing to me. It is clear from everything Kaitlin shared with me that he was a main of great integrity, strength and love. As a fellow believer in Christ, it is comforting to know he is with God, in peace knowing that God is telling him now,"you did a wicked great job Michael". On this day, may you each find individual peace and comfort. - Love in Christ, Wendy Arnold

Condolence From: Doug & Darla Leatherman
Condolence: Sally, Jim & Ashley, Kati & Paul and family, What a true blessing to know the Fairweather Family. Our hearts go out to you all with Mike's passing from this life to his life with Jesus. Mike was a true warrior as he battled cancer. I will always remember his positive attitude, fun-loving spirit and his huge impact in our ministry through his leadership and wisdom. As well, I loved seeing Mike spending time with your family. Most of all I am grateful for the spiritual heritage that Christ has given your family. What an example of a man who cared so much about others that he couldn't help but share about the power of Christ in his life. Jim, your leadership at Butler University continues to bear fruit in lives of athletes on campus. Thanks to you and Ashley for your willingness to jump in and build into students. Sally, we continue to keep you and the family in our prayers as you move forward together during this challenging time. With Love, Doug, Darla, Caitlyn and Jerod

Condolence From: Dick Lindman
Condolence: Dear Sally and Family, It wasn’t long after we moved to Sanibel, about 3 years ago, that I met Mike. I had heard a few things about his fight with prostate cancer and how in mid-life he had a significant experience of spiritual renewal. I saw him one day in church, introduced myself, and after visiting a bit I said, “Hey Mike, I’d love to connect with you and hear a little more of your story sometime.” We connected the next week and in an hour and a half probably knew more personal things about each other than many guys discover in a lifetime. Mike became a brother to me, a soul mate, the kind of friend that every person longs for. I will miss him greatly. Sally, you too have become a dear sister to Carol, and we will both treasure your company as we connect and carry on in Sanibel. I think of the small group that we are both in there and the many others in Sanibel, who will take you under their wing. You will be dearly loved, fondly befriended, and all of us will have memories of Mike that will challenge us to “finish well”. Love you Sally.

Condolence From: Donna Decker
Condolence: Dearest Fairweathers all -- our Decker family hearts are broken with the loss of Mike. The memories of our growing up on Highland Ave. are too many to recount in a day, a week, a year. All Fairweather memories are rich and fun and full of life, and we thank you all for that. I got to see Mike again, after so many years, not so long ago. We hugged. We talked. It was the highlight of my day. There are no words to express our sorrow. We all send so much love to Sally and Mike's children and all of you amazing lifelong friends.

Condolence From: Bethe F. Mordaszewski
Condolence: Mike, our dear brother, could always bring out cheer and happiness. We all had the benefit of his wisdom and great talents. We looked to him with admiration as we saw his brilliance and dedication in his ingenious ways. He lived his life then faced his suffering with courage, deep faith, and certainly Jesus in his heart as God's messenger to us. On that last day, we prayed with him for a most glorious resurrection, with comfort and peace, as he joined our Mom & Dad. "Good Show" as Dad would say!
