Condolence: In laws who alienate and divide. Who lack character and manners, peronality and humor. One hears these unfortunate stories all the time. But not from me. My brother in law is Mike Fairweather and for forty years wherever we met up there were warm welcomes, burgers and a cold beer, laughter and friendship. What a huge loss for our family. RIP, Mike

I treasure the memories of the time spent @ Unex, as Mike turned around a floundering company, and transformed it into the world leader. I learned a lot being with him during that period. Condolence: Sally, Jim & Ashley, Kati & Paul and family, What a true blessing to know the Fairweather Family. Our hearts go out to you all with Mike's passing from this life to his life with Jesus. Condolence: Dear Sally and Family, It wasn’t long after we moved to Sanibel, about 3 years ago, that I met Mike. I had heard a few things about his fight with prostate cancer and how in mid-life he had a significant experience of spiritual renewal. I saw him one day in church, introduced myself, and after visiting a bit I said, “Hey Mike, I’d love to connect with you and hear a little more of your story sometime.” We connected the next week and in an hour and a half probably knew more personal things about each other than many guys discover in a lifetime. Mike became a brother to me, a soul mate, the kind of friend that every person longs for. I will miss him greatly. Sally, you too have become a dear sister to Carol, and we will both treasure your company as we connect and carry on in Sanibel. I think of the small group that we are both in there and the many others in Sanibel, who will take you under their wing. You will be dearly loved, fondly befriended, and all of us will have memories of Mike that will challenge us to “finish well”. Love you Sally.

Condolence: Dearest Fairweathers all -- our Decker family hearts are broken with the loss of Mike. The memories of our growing up on Highland Ave. are too many to recount in a day, a week, a year. All Fairweather memories are rich and fun and full of life, and we thank you all for that. I got to see Mike again, after so many years, not so long ago. We hugged. We talked. It was the highlight of my day. There are no words to express our sorrow. We all send so much love to Sally and Mike's children and all of you amazing lifelong friends.

Condolence: Michael hired me when I went to Summa Four many years ago. I was his secretary. He was a great boss and a wonderful person to be around. I know his family will sadly miss him. Rest In Peace, Michael. We shall meet again. Love ya! Jane (The Pain)

Condolence: Dear Sally, Jimmy and Kati, spouses and kids, I love you all with a fierceness that cannot be expressed in words. I am so grateful to have grown up with you. Sally, you will forever be the sister that I always longed for, and time and distance can never change that. Michael and I shared a unique bond that will last forever. I am in awe of the strength, love and courage shown by all of you. I will always bear the Fairweather name proudly because of the example you have set. My deepest sympathies go out to you.

Condolence: Mike, our dear brother, could always bring out cheer and happiness. We all had the benefit of his wisdom and great talents. We looked to him with admiration as we saw his brilliance and dedication in his ingenious ways. He lived his life then faced his suffering with courage, deep faith, and certainly Jesus in his heart as God's messenger to us. On that last day, we prayed with him for a most glorious resurrection, with comfort and peace, as he joined our Mom & Dad. "Good Show" as Dad would say!

Condolence: I participated in the Bible Study / Faith Sharing sessions co-chaired by Mike and Sally. Mike's leadership style was always gentle and engaging; in particular Mike enjoyed asked questions that stimulated conversations and sharing.

Condolence: Loved working with Mike many years ago at Summa Four. He was truly a wonderful person. I remember he always insisted phones be answered on the first ring....customers first! He was taken too soon...RIP Mike
