Amanda Alice Jennings, 34, of Kennebunk, died suddenly Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Old Orchard Beach.

Amanda was born November 18, 1981 in Wilkesboro, NC, the daughter of Claude Earl and Dawn Stevens Jennings. Moving to Kennebunk with her family at a young age, she grew up in Kennebunk, attending local schools. As a teenager she loved and was involved in the local punk music scene.

She was employed with the Coffee Gourmet/Café at Lafayette, Stefano’s Bistro, Cherie’s Bakery, Garden Street Market and Hannaford. She loved music, going to concerts, movies, photography and spending time with her family and friends. She always had such an eclectic style, a beautiful personality and was always smiling. She was loved by so many and will be terribly missed by so many people.

She is predeceased by her father Claude Jennings and her step-Dad Donald Delisle.

Survivors include her mother Dawn Jennings of Kennebunk, four sisters: Suellen Perkins and her husband Dan of Lyman, Kelly Wood and her husband Randy of Lebanon, Melissa Lavoie and her fiancé Gary Corson of Kennebunk, Rebecca Giguere and her husband Jason of Kennebunk, two nieces and one nephew: Danielle Wood, Claudia Whorton and Jaxxen Whorton. Amanda is also survived by her partner of several years George Kroustallis.

Visiting hours will be held 4 to 7 PM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday. Immediately following the funeral service, a reception will be held at the Dorothy Stevens Community Center, 80 Thompson Road, Kennebunk.
