Obituary for Rosella Charland (Kelley)
Rosella Charland, 91, of Kennebunk, died Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 after a long illness at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born in South Portland on October 7,1926, the daughter of William James Kelley, Sr., and Alice (Kearns) Kelley, and grew up in Goodwins Mills, ME.
Rosella and her husband, Roger celebrated their 65th anniversary this past year. She lovingly raised her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were her whole life.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, James William Clark; and her brother, William Kelley, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband Roger of Kennebunk; three daughters, Patricia Lavalle of West Newfield, ME, Barbara Cook of Marco Island, FL, Carol Cliché of Kennebunk; five grandchildren, Keagan Giles of West Newfield, Janie Giles of West Newfield, Sommer Nichols of Dayton, Jared Cliche of Buxton, Tregg Cliche of Biddeford; four great grandchildren, Caitlynn Cook, Bradley Cruver, Garrett Cliché, and Carter Cliché.
Services will be private.
Should friends choose, memorial donations in her name are encouraged to: Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, c/o Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 U.S. Route One, Scarborough, ME 04074.
