Such a sweet, gentle guy is how I will remember Bear. It's been so many years since I've seen or interacted with him, but the sweet demeanor and twinkle of his eye will be the way I will always remember him. For one who was so appreciative of this earth & all that surrounded him, it's a shame he isn't on this earth to enjoy it longer. Bear, there's another place for you to enjoy, & I hope it keeps that twinkle in your eye. Missy

He undoubtedly never knew how many people wondered about him and looked for him, from school bus and car windows, for so many years... He probably wouldn’t have been able to bare the thought of it anyway... The infamy of his very being. He was a fixture in the community, someone who lived an unimaginably simple life, seeming to be from another time and place all together, yet ever present.
