Obituary for Jeanne Reynolds

Dateline - Berwick

E. Jeanne (Freeman) Reynolds, 75, of Berwick passed away on February 20th at home surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. Jeanne was born February 14, 1941 in Amesbury, Mass. She grew up in York, ME, graduating from school in 1959 and married Wayne Reynolds, the love of her life two days later. They shared 60 years together as best friends and true soul mates.

Jeanne worked in various jobs but primarily dedicated herself to her family. Their Berwick home was her residence for her entire married life. Wayne and Jeanne and their two sons shared enjoyable times camping, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and numerous vacation adventures. A favorite place was Wood Island, Grand Manan, Canada with her family. She devoted all her energy to ensuring the people she loved were happy.

Survivors include: her husband of 56 years Wayne Reynolds, sons Larry and his wife Pam Blais, of Rochester, NH; Dave and his wife Roxanne of Berwick, ME; Grandchildren: Michelle and her husband Tim Nevins, Sean and his fiancée Stephanie Chick, and Joshua Reynolds stationed in England; Great granddaughter Alexa Nevins. Siblings: Nellie Huckins and her husband Jack, Jerry Freeman and his wife Bonnie, and Wil and his wife Joyce, and many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents.

Friends may visit with family on February 27, 2016, from 2pm to 4pm at Laing-Bibber Funeral Chapel, 36 Rochester St., Berwick, ME.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cornerstone VNA, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867; or WDH Seacoast Cancer Center, 789 Central Avenue, Dover, NH 03820. The family appreciates the medical professionals’ support and particularly Kate during Jeanne’s final days.
